The guest rooms at Westmoreland Lodge are just what I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was made perfectly, the bathroom was spotlessly clean, and the flooring was well-maintained. Everything felt cozy and convenient for my daily needs.
The only downside, and this is just my personal opinion, is that the room had a shared bathroom.

The value for money at the lodge was excellent, with clean and organized accommodations. The staff treated me like family, offering help and advice throughout my stay.
The breakfast experience could have been better with a wider variety of options.

This place is perfect for low-budget travelers. the staff is kind and helpful. the rooms are spacious and come with complimentary coffee and a kettle. You can chill out in the beautiful garden. There is a big shared kitchen and a shopping mall within walking distance.
Felt like royalty, no complaints at all.

I recently stayed at Westmoreland Lodge in Johannesburg for a business trip. The hotel was chosen by my director and I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The staff provided excellent service and were always available to assist. The room was clean and comfortable, and the towels and toiletries were promptly provided upon request. The Wi-Fi connection was reliable and fast, which was crucial for my work. I appreciated the peaceful ambiance of the hotel, allowing me to focus on my tasks undisturbed.
Our parking was quite far from our lodge, up a steep hill, making it challenging with two young children and multiple bags.

The area is mind-blowingly quiet and beautiful, the family room is super spacious, clean and tidy, with a jaw-droppingly clean bathroom. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the room has a bigger fridge, bigger TV screen, heater, Aircon, and an electric kettle. The staff is absolutely amazing and helpful in planning sightseeing and dining options. The kitchen space is homely and the washing area is nice and big. , the area is very safe. The owner, Elvion, is great and provides exceptional assistance. There is Wi-Fi, a pool, and a fan in the room which is a big bonus. The breakfast is rich, although more options would have been nice. our stay at this BnB was nothing short of fantastic!

We were there for one night only. Loved that all 9 of us could be accommodated. Extra blankets and breakfast were great. Belinda and Precious were two gems. Made our first time in Jo'burg very pleasant. No hassles or hiccups, and it was affordable. We'll definitely go back whenever we can in future.
100% Recommend this hotel.

The cozy and elegant decor of the lodge made me feel right at home. With its soft colors and comfortable furniture, it was a joy to relax in the hotel's common areas. As a senior, I appreciated how easily accessible everything was, from the spacious hallways to the well-maintained elevator. It was a delight to move around without any obstacles or inconvenience.
The only improvement I would suggest for a better vacation experience for senior people is if the children working there could provide more assistance when needed. Although they were friendly, there were times when I could have used a helping hand, especially when carrying my luggage or navigating around the hotel.
